About Us
Who We Are
TD Performance Horses and Cattle Company was built on the dreams of Troy and Dawn Dugan. Their love for horses, cattle and sheer grit has helped them develop their breeding and training programs.
Together, they have over 50 years of experience riding, breeding and training horses. Working to foster a respectful and empathetic relationship between rider and equine partner through lessons and training.
Currently, they breed and raise Corriente, Texas LongHorn, Black Angus and American Bucking Bulls as well as American Quarter Horses.
Their dream was to have a place where people could feel safe, learn new skills and foster a love for horses and sports that involve both, an equine partner and cattle. Through the years they have formed a community that has encouraged those that visit to slow down and fosters a connection with people, horses and the land. A safe place where the adventure of a true ‘ranch experience’ can be had or a long, peaceful ride through ‘God’s country’.
Both Dawn and Troy are US Armed Forces Veterans, certified in Equine Assisted Learning (specializing in PTSD/Trauma). They share their incredible love for horses and people at their ranch in Danville, Ohio.
